OOOH! I want this room!

Yesterday, I received the latest catalog in the mail from Ballard Designs. They are one of my favorites when it comes to home decor...I keep all of their catalogs and love to browse through them all the time. I came across this picture in the catalog and seriously fell in love with this room. I think it's going to be the inspiration for my new craft room/office that DH is working on in our basement. Sorry, the picture is not that great, I had to photograph the actual magazine page. But, it's done in black, white, and a sort-of apple green. There are these adorable alphabet balls that are displayed in a glass urn, too cute! And, you have to check out these pretty cameo pushpins. Even though I cannot afford most of the things shown here, I can use it as a guide and look for similar, but, more affordable, items. What do you think? Isn't it just gorgeous!

I saw those alphabet balls too! I'm totally coveting them but at that price I think I'll hold off awhile.

I've been trying to find those alphabet balls through the maker, Go Home LTD but they have been very slow in getting back to me. I bought the dish that Country Living had them in to go with and now I just have an empty dish! Ballard does carry the balls with numbers instead of alphabet, but i just love the alphabet. I need to find those!

i too loved those and finally bought some on clearance at hobby lobby. the small ones were still .68 each but they make such a great accent.

just a thought. after purchasing the balls at hobby lobby ive decided i want more but started looking at lottery and bingo supply chains. they may not be procelain but in a bowl will anyone actaully look that closely. also i saw a post where someone painted wooden balls (id think any ball would do) and then used scrapbooking rub ons to apply letters. dont know if any of these options help but i love recreating pricey looks for as little as possible. good luck

I may be a little late with this.
I recently found these alphabet balls in Coldwater Creek catalog, $30 for a set of 26 (I think that's half the Ballard price)
I too had been coveting them.
