I'll be needing some concealer!

I'm feeling somewhat better (thanks for all the well wishes), although I'm still stuffy and coughing my head off. And, I have a gross blister on my lip (from stress and being sick) which is just great, since tomorrow we are having professional family photos done (our first ever including all six of us, I'm ashamed to say). I found a wonderful local photographer who will do your photo shoot in your home or at a nearby location of your choice. We are heading to downtown Louisville to get some shots. There's lots of old buildings and cool architectural elements that I think will be fun to use as backdrops. Then we may do some more photos at an old historic home that has really pretty grounds. I'm stressed out about the photo shoot, my kiddos (and me, too) can be on the shy side and absolutely hate getting their pictures made. Hopefully all will go smoothly. I've agonized many hours over what we are all going to wear and such. I finally decided on denim bottoms and casual tops in chocolate browns and sky blue. We're definately not the "formal" dress-up type so I figured casual is the way to go. I will share pictures with you when I get access to the proofs. Now, I better go. I need to paint my toenails, shave my legs, and find some concealer!

Glad you're feeling better. Isn't that the way it always goes when pictures are coming up? Something always happens. My husband lived in Louisville when he was married the first time - his first wife grew up there. Both of his kids were born there. However, I've never been there! ha! Re: your comment on my blog about the beach. How neat you vacation at nearly the same place. I've stayed at rentals in Seagrove many times. Bet you know Bud n' Ally's, the Red Bar, and Modica Market??? :o)

Honestly I think it's the impending pictures that makes everyone sick...it always happens right?

Hi Kari :)

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better!

I hate having my picture too, but if you are comfortable and not all dressed up it may be easier :)

Have a great night,
rue

We share more than just a name! lol On my wedding day (the first wedding so it doesn't really count, ha,ha) I woke up with a huge fever blister on my upper lip and hives all over my chest. Yeah, I was tad bit stressed out over the whole getting married thing and IT SHOWED! The pictures from that day weren't what you'd call "glowing".

Can't wait to see the proofs of your family pictures!!!
