Movie Trailer Tuesday - Bonneville

When her husband, Joe, dies, Arvilla wants to fulfill his wish by scattering his ashes. His daughter, on the other hand, insists on burying his ashes next to her mother. Threatened with losing her home if she doesn't give in to the daughter, Arvilla and her two best friends, set out on the trip of a lifetime. What starts as a plan to deliver Joe to his daughter for burial, turns into a crazy adventure, with the three friends learning a lot about themselves and each other. Jessica Lange, Joan Allen and Kathy Bates are all terrific in this heartwarming story.

Is it depressing to anyone else that Jessica Lange is now the "old lady" in movies?

Looks like a good one. Isn't there a new movie coming out with a similar story line? I was surprised to see Bonneville is from 2006.

I think I need to see this movie for many reasons. Back when my first husband passed way I had him cremated and wanted to scatter some of his ashes in Canada (which I did) but take the remainder to New Zealand to be buried with his father (which I did). I had to sit there while his mom chastised me "gentley" for cremating him - I didn't dare tell her that only half of him was in the urn - shhhhh

Those are all great actresses. Thanks Kari once again for another good recommendation. I agree that I'm sort of freaked out that Jessica Lange is considered "old" in movies now. Remember how she was the sexiest leading lady for a long time?
