Another Update

My Dad passed away on Sunday evening. We knew it was coming, but, I admit that I thought he would have a few more days than he did. Throughout the weekend, he became increasingly restless, uncomfortable, and unable to communicate with us. I'm not sure if he really knew us or not on Sunday and we could certainly tell that he was a lot worse. It's so very sad but I couldn't stand to see him like that and I know he is at peace and in a much better place. Thank you to everyone who has sent me your prayers...it means so much!

I am so sorry for your loss, I imagine it must be hard and my prayers are with you. I remember when my grandmother got sick a few years ago she went quick and I remember praying for a swift passing for her because I did not want her suffering anymore. God bless you.

Kari,

I'm so sorry you lost your dad. I know the pain all too well because my dad passed away just three weeks before yours. I wish there were something I could say to you (and you could say to me) that would make it easier or hurt less but we both know there are no words. I hope you find comfort in your sweet memories. Many hugs...
