Aloha Friday - What Did You Want To Be?

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday, hosted by Kailani over at An Island Life. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So, on Fridays we can take it easy on blog posting, too.

I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer - nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life where you can link up with your own question and also visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

When you were a kid, what did you want you want to be when you grew up? Did you become that or did you choose another option?

When I was little, I wanted to be either an archeologist or a flight attendant. I did not become either one, instead I chose to go to nursing school and become a registered nurse. And, after having my own children, I chose to quit working altogether so that I could be a stay-at-home mom. I love being a stay-at-home mom and it has been the best choice for me.

I wanted to deliver babies when I was little! No, I didn't become an OB/GYN. I actually went to school for biz admin, worked in the family biz until I became a SAHM. And now am able to work at home as an Independent Beachbody Coach. I love that I am available for my children yet have the opportunity to help others change their lives!

Hi! I wanted to be a dancer. Did that, and then got married and became a mother. Thus ended my career. No regrets. I'm your latest follower. Hope you stop by me on Monday for my fairly new meme, Monday's Music Moves Me. Tons of fun. Have a great weekend.

I think every week I wanted to be something different. I always wanted to work with animals, but I never have.

I always wanted to be a secretary...then I worked for a clothing store and decided to go into Retail Management. Once I was a manager I hated the hours and having to work all those hours that I got a job being an Office Manager (almost a secretary). :)

An astronomer when I was a kid and an archaeologist when I was in my teens. Today my job is educating people about nature conservation, but looking at the stars and visiting archaeological places have both stayed my hobbies.
