I have been tagged by Susan to list five random things about myself. If you haven't visited her blog, go check it out. She is so sweet and friendly and has wonderful stories to share. Now, let's see what I can come up with....
1) I HAVE to make the beds right away every morning. The rest of my house can be in total disarray, but, I can't stand to have unmade beds.
2) I'm extremely ticklish. Hubby likes to hold me down and "torture" me by tickling me. He knows I can't stand it though, so he will only do it for a minute or so. I am not responsible for my actions if I'm being tickled -- I've been known to scream, scratch, kick, bite, pull hair...
3) Speaking of pulling hair, if my hair is pulled, it makes me sneeze. And, if I have to sneeze, but can't, all I have to do is pull my hair, look at a light, or smell a pencil...weird, I know.
4) I have had three pedicures in my entire life. The first one was fine. The second one was fine. The third one, not so much. About a month later, two of my toenails fell off!!! How gross is that! On both feet, it was the third toe, they just fell completely off and there were already new nails growing. They are fine now, but, I will probably never get another pedicure. That really freaked me out. I have a thing about feet freaking me out, anyway.
5) When my first child was born, I had never even really held a newborn, much less taken care of one. It was scary at first, but, I soon found great joy in motherhood. I loved it all -- being pregnant, giving birth, breastfeeding. I feel so fortunate and blessed that it all came to me pretty naturally.
There ya go. Five random little things that you didn't know about me.

I loved your 5 things!
I'm not a bedmaker at all, but I wish I was!
And the toenail thing...that is weird!
Kari, I also have to make my bed in the morning..it drives my husband crazy! I have fear of pedicures for the very reason you probably won't have another. I have also loved everything about being a mother. Thanks for participating. Susan
Kari,
I loved those 5 things!
That hair/sneeze thing is pretty kooky, girlfriend :)
So the toenail thing....did you get a raging infection or did they just fall off without warning?
Kari,
I received your beautiful card today! Thank you so much - as I've said before, I love Christmas cards and yours is one of the prettiest I've ever seen. It's sitting in a prominent place on our bookshelf so everyone can see it. Thank you for including us on your list!
Merry Christmas -
Kari
Okay, you've had a big enough break. It's time to get back to blogging, missy. I grow weary of coming by here every day and not seeing any new posts....(and I know my emotional state means something to you, right?). lol
Oh, I wish I was a bed maker. I have no desire to make beds unless the sheets are just out of the dryer clean.
Smell a pencil? Hmmm... Interesting. I hate not being able to sneeze. I'll have to grab a pencil next time! (Will a mechanical one do? LOL!)
I'd have freaked out about the toe thing too. Strange...
Loved your random things!
