Movie Trailer Tuesday - Tristan and Isolde

This is one of my very favorite movies of all-times. It stars Rufus Sewell, James Franco, Sophia Myles, and, if you are a fan of The Tudors, you will recognize Henry Cavill.

From Netflix:

"this timeless medieval tale follows Tristan (James Franco) and Isolde (Sophia Myles), star-crossed lovers doomed by the forces of imperial politics. When gallant English knight Tristan wins the love of beautiful Isolde -- the daughter of the Irish king (David O'Hara) -- their liaison threatens to destroy the uneasy truce between their two nations. Rufus Sewell plays English warlord Lord Marke."

I remember reading about this love story in college. It's such a heartfelt story. The trailer looks great. I'll have to put it on my list :)

I think I remember seeing the previews for this in the movie theater a while back ... it looked quite passionate and intense. I'll have to check it out some time!

The trailer is breath-taking. James Franco and Sophia Myles really look good together. I think I would enjoy this like how I enjoyed Romeo and Juliet. Truly, love conquers all. Sometimes fate betrays our heart and yet we find ourselves going back to the one who really owns it. I'm sure that this is a great movie.

What happened to all the great American actors? Did they die with John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart? I have been so impressed with British actors in this decade. Rufus Sewell is amazing in whatever film he does. It seems the British do what we used to do--have great actors from the big headline name to the support characters--I can't wait to see it!
