A mother parks her car on a train track, intending to take her own life and possibly the life of her young son. The little boy survives and becomes involved with the engineer who happened to be driving the train during the horrific event. As they form a relationship, their lives are forever changed.
This is such a tear-jerker! It stars Kevin Bacon and Marcia Gay Harden, who are both always a pleasure to watch.
Rated PG-13 for mature thematic elements, an accident scene, brief nudity and momentary strong language.
