I first read this novel and then watched the movie several years ago. It's a somewhat dark, but moving, story. You'll enjoy the terrific ensemble cast in the film.

I totally forgot about this book and movie. I read the book but never saw the movie--I do love Michelle P.
I have the book but I haven't read it yet. Michelle hasn't acted that much lately but she's always good when she does.
I LOVE this book. It's not the greatest story ever told, but the author has an amazing power with words. They are so poetic. Reading it makes me want to go do something creative! The movie did justice to the book, and amazingly did not highlight the "bad" parts of the book.
Great read and Great movie!
I read this book a long time ago and I did happen to see the movie. I thought the movie definitely complemented the book.
Thank you for stopping by on my SITS day! Sorry it's taken me this long to make my way around.
Hopped over for a first visit.
Wow...I'm behind haven't read the book or seen the movie!
