Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday, hosted by Kailani over at An Island Life. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So, on Fridays we can take it easy on blog posting, too.
I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer - nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life where you can link up with your own question and also visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
Where or how did you meet your significant other? If you are single, tell me a trait you admire in someone of the opposite sex...
I met my husband in high school - I was in 11th grade, he was in 12th grade when we started dating. Coincidentally, years before when I was an 8th grader, his dad was my science teacher. My husband has an identical twin brother and I can remember his dad talking in class about his twins (who I didn't know at the time).

I was dating his friend.
We met online in 1996 before meeting online was the 'in' thing to do. ;) I put off meeting him in person until early in 1997 - and the rest, as they say, is history. ;)
We have twins in our family, too! My dad is the survivor of triplets, and my brother and sister are twins - and my brother has twin girls. :) Have a great weekend - and Happy Valentine's Day! :)

LOL How much time do you have? Long story short I was a wrong number he paged. He thought I was a drummer friend of his, but he lost his pager & I got his number. I thought he was someone who stood me up when he called, so I reamed him a... well a few choices words & then he said, "Who is this?" & I said "Who is this?" After apologizing for 10 minutes cuz I felt so bad & 3 days of him paging me I finally consented in meeting him & nine years later we eloped.
We met online in the summer of 2000.
My family didn't want me meeting people online so we told them it was a blind date. Then at our wedding the rabbi said how we really met. Oops!
We met online and then on his vacation.
Happy Weekend!
We met through mutual friends.
We worked together at Woolworth's discount store as teens. (I thought that he looked very safe!)
