Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday, hosted by Kailani over at An Island Life. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So, on Fridays we can take it easy on blog posting, too.
I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer - nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life where you can link up with your own question and also visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
What's the last dessert or sweet treat that you made?
Last weekend was our youngest son's 12th birthday. I baked a (box) cake for him - white cake, chocolate frosting, and sprinkles.

Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream.
Yum! Cake! :) Let's see...last dessert I made was Chocolate Molten Lava Cake for the hubby's and my anniversary last month. :)
The Smart Plan
I made Kermit the Frog cupcakes for a family birthday party for my son over Labor Day. Now that the cool weather is coming back I can fire up the oven and bake again.
Box cupcakes for the Hubby... American Applesauce Cake from Dassant Baking!
Jello cake for our party and for my Aunt Mitzi because it was sugar free. Tasty.
Low carb cookies. They're not bad.
Have a great weekend!

LOL Does Candied yams count :)
That's all I can remember.
Enjoy your weekend
I made French Macaroons for the first time ... I was delighted with the results!
That I made, hmmm...probably Almond Roca cookies a few weeks back. I don't make sweets too often because then I am too tempted! :)
