The Best of Me Blu-ray Giveaway #BestOfMeInsiders

I am sharing this information as a member of the Fox Home ENT Insiders Blogging Program. In exchange for my participation in this campaign, I will receive a free blu-ray of this movie. Any and all opinions expressed in this post are my own.

The Best of Me
Coming to Blu-ray and DVD February 3, 2015
Rated PG-13

I am a huge Nicholas Sparks fan! I've read many of his books and have seen all of his movies. They never fail to entertain and tug at my heart. The Best of Me was one that I did not have the chance to see in theaters so now that it's about to be released on Blu-ray and DVD, I can't wait to check it out. It will be the perfect "home-date-night" movie to share with my husband for Valentine's Day.

Based on the #1 New York Times Best Seller from celebrated author Nicholas Sparks comes this tender, romantic drama about the timeless power of love. When former high school sweethearts Dawson and Amanda (James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan) meet at a loved one's funeral 20 years after tragedy separated them, their love is reignited. As they recall and relive the past, they come to a deeper understanding about the choices they've made. Also starring Luke Bracey and Liana Liberato, and featuring beautiful scenery along with music by Lady Antebellum, The Best of Me is a powerfully romantic story of love, hope and second chances.

And, this is really cool...for the Home Entertainment release, the “Tears of Joy” Edition Blu-ray and DVD will include an all-new storyline and “Storybook” Alternate Ending so Amanda and Dawson finally get that second chance at love.

Special Features
• “Tears of Joy” New Storyline and “Storybook” Alternate Ending
• Deleted Scenes (Blu-ray Only)
• Along for the Ride • Nicholas Sparks Interviews: Michelle and James (Blu-ray Only)
• Nicholas Sparks Interviews: Liana and Luke (Blu-ray Only)
• Director’s Commentary by Michael Hoffman
• Music Video: I Did – Lady Antebellum
• Digital HD (Blu-ray Only)

One lucky Alas 3 Lads readers is going to win a free Blu-ray copy of The Best of Me.

My favorite book turned movie from Nicholas Sparks is A Walk To Remember. I've watched this over and over again but it still makes me cry at the end. :)

I don't think there is one Nicholas Sparks Book or Movie that is just okay - they are all great. Although, one does stand out above the rest and that is "The Notebook."
