My youngest son, who is in second grade, brought home his school writing journal for me to see last night. The teacher gives them a few words or starting phrase as a prompt, and they take it from there. As I was looking through it, this particular entry really made me smile. Here's what it says in case you are unable to read it:
If I was flat I would get my friend a ask hem to fold me into a paper auer plan and thro me wae up in the sky and I would fel the aer and I would fel the wend
(Translation) -
If I was flat I would get my friend and ask him to fold me into a paper airplane and throw me way up in the sky and I would feel the air and I would feel the wind
Of course I am biased, but, isn't that creative and sweet? I just love it!

That is precious. To have the imagination of a child...
Awww...I miss the what if stages...
Awwww, that's adorable. He'll hate it in about 10 years, but then he'll love it again in about 20. lol
I found a note that Kaleb (my 18 year old) had written in 1st or 2nd grade. It was so funny. He was telling what he wanted to be when he grew up. He said either a garbage man or a co-pilot. lol Not a pilot, but a co-pilot. Or a garbage man. How funny. I'm so glad I saved that. :)
