When it comes to alarm clocks, I tend to have some obsessive-compulsive habits. For example, I always set the time on my alarm clock about 4-6 minutes fast. And, when I set the alarm, I will only set it for a time that ends in 4 or 7 (like 6:07 or 8:14) - yes, this is very weird, I know. It kinda drives my husband crazy. But, like I said, I am obsessive-compulsive about such things (especially about the numbers 4 and 7). Another thing I do is repeatedly hit the snooze button (sometimes I might set my alarm early enough so that I will be able to hit the snooze button enough times for a good 45-60 minutes of extra sleep). Yes, I realize this is probably weird too, LOL! I am not a morning person at all, and I just need to feel like I'm getting every possible little bit of sleep that I can.
