I am thankful that we live in a small town. I love that my sons and daughter have been with the same basic group of kids since they started school. I love that our elementary school principal knows most every student and parent by name. I love that I only have to pass through one or two traffic lights to reach "downtown." I love that I feel safe and secure in our home and tight-knit neighborhood. I love that my neighbors will bring us food or words of comfort in a time of need and vice-verse. I love that if you drive into town after 11:00 pm, it's pretty much empty and quiet. I'm very thankful to be raising my family in this small town.

I live in a very small town too & I must say that "most" days I'm so thankful for being here.
We live in a small town too. I love the fact that everyone knows everyone, and "town" is just a few miles away, but I do miss shopping malls....
What a neat challenge ... and a great way to remind us of all the things that we have good in life. You are making me want to move to a small town now!!!
