I am thankful for my mom who instilled in me a love of reading. Reading has been part of my life ever since I can remember and it enriches my life in so many ways - it keeps my mind sharp, entertains me, teaches me, makes me laugh and cry, makes me think, provides an escape from life's daily stresses, helps me connect with others, and more.
To me, the love of reading is a gift!

I love reading, too, and it's one thing that I hope to pass onto my kids. There's nothing like an escape from the every day into any kind of book. :) It is definitely a gift, and one to be celebrated.
